How do you report a damage?

Are you a customer of AMS? Is the damage insured with Euro Insurances?

Please report the damage to us directly via email. Do you prefer to call? You can reach us at 036-527 2828.

Have you reported the damage? You will receive a claim number. Always mention this number when you contact AMS. Do you drive a LeasePlan car? Report the damage directly to LeasePlan. Read here how you report the damage.

Is there a counterparty involved?

In that case, we would like to receive as much information as possible, like:

  • A fully completed claim form (front and back).

  • Photos of the collision, of the cars involved, the situation at the scene, and/or the damage caused.

  • Details of any witnesses and/or passengers present; name, email address, and telephone number.

  • Information indicating whether or not the police were present and/or whether they have made a report.

Is everything complete? Scan the documents and photos and email them to schade@ams.nl. Always mention the claim number in the subject of your email. This will help us to help you more quickly.

Good to know

Do you receive certain documents from the counterparty, such as a liability statement? If so, do not answer them and send the document(s) to schade@ams.nl. We will then take it from there. Always mention the claim number in the subject of the email.

Damage reported. What to do next?

  • AMS creates a case file

  • Via e-mail, you will receive a case number. Please mention this number in all communications.

  • The claims handler will contact you and inform you about the next steps.

Does the counterparty have any questions?

We don't just handle your questions. We also handle the questions of the counterparty. You can then also refer him/her directly to AMS. The counterparty can also make use of our expertise. We ensure that the other party's damages are repaired. In this way we help you and the counterparty quickly and safely back on the road.

You need a European claim form?

Usually, you find the claim form in the glove compartment of the car. Do you need a new claim form? Download the form here. Do you prefer a paper version? No problem. You can request the form here. The claim form will be sent to you within 10 working days.
