AMS takes care of the damage report quickly.
Damage to a car, bike, scooter? Or do you have damage to your house or garden (fence)? Or have you been hit by a vehicle insured by Euro Insurances? Then report the damage to AMS and e-mail us the necessary documents. Always include the claim number in the subject line of your email. This way we can easily get your information in case we need to contact you. As soon as we received the claim, we will get in touch with you.
In order to handle the claim report well, we need to have the following items sent to us via email:
A description of what happened and why you think, that the vehicle insured by Euro Insurances is responsible.
The claim form, if any, is completed and signed by both parties.
Evidence of the damage you are claiming.
Is your car fully insured (all risk)? Please report the damage to your own insurer. Your insurer will contact us.
Is your car not insured all-risk? In that case, report the damage via +31 (0)36-5272828.
In some cases, it is necessary that the damage be assessed and estimated by an expert. This is if the damage exceeds the following expert limits:
Car > €1000
Scooter or moped > €400
Bicycle > €300
Do you think the damage will be less than the expert limit? If so, first request an itemized pro forma invoice from the damage repair company. Then sent it to schade@ams.nl. Always mention the claim number in the subject of the email.
We will then contact you as soon as possible about our stand. Does AMS accept liability and is damage proven? Then we compensate for the damage.
Have you suffered personal injury in an accident in addition to material damage? If so, mention this in your claim report. The AMS injury team will contact you immediately to discuss your personal situation. We will then advise you on the further settlement of the claim. So you can focus on your recovery!
Damage to the car is always unpleasant. Therefore we will help you as best we can so you can continue driving. In case we recognize the full liability, you can benefit from our extra service(s).
If the vehicle insured with us has caused damage to, for example, a house, shed, vacation home or garage? In that case, also report the damage to your insurance company. If necessary, the insurer will send an expert.
