Recoverable damage components

If you yourself are liable for an accident, the other party will be contacted and the damage arranged with them. If the other party is liable for the accident, AMS will determine the damage for you and ensure that the various damage components are recovered from the other party. You can think of:

Vehicle damage. The damage to the car is usually the largest damage item. LeasePlan Nederland takes care of the repair process for you, which includes a free pick-up and return service.

Costs of replacement transport

If your garage does not have a loan car, you could consider renting an equivalent car. The rental costs are recoverable for a maximum of 75%, with explicit consideration of the type of vehicle that has been hired, the rental price and the kilometers driven. This repair time is generally apparent from the statement that the damage expert provides. In the event of a total loss, it has been determined nationally that the period for which replacement transport is reimbursed is limited to 14 days.
